In October, changes concerning housing and communal services will work in Belarus. "The Mirror" has compiled a selection of such innovations.
Electricity innovation
Since October, some changes will also be introduced to the payment of electricity consumed. Thus, people who have "squares" in a new building, within three months after its commissioning will be billed for electricity at subsidized rates.
For non-residential premises there will be an opportunity to make differentiated payment by time of day, choosing a two-zone or three-zone tariff. But there is an important nuance - the presence of a contract for electricity supply.
An innovation for "deadbeats"
From October 1 will introduce an innovation on the calculation and payment of housing and communal services for apartments, whose owners are in the base of "dependents". So, from next month in situations where the owner of the housing is among the "deadbeats", all costs for heating, hot water and gas will be calculated at economically justified rates. Even if others registered in the apartment are considered to be employed in the economy. Now the owner-"deadbeat" pays only his part of these housing and communal services at full tariffs.
We remind you that "deadbeats" now pay full tariffs for some housing and communal services - heating, hot water and gas. The cost of the first two services for "dependents" is 4.8 times higher than for the rest of the population. At the same time, officials have not abandoned the idea of introducing for "deadbeats" restrictions on free medicine.
Gifts - either on paper or electronic
Among other innovations, which will start working on October 1, will affect the ways of notification of the amount of payment for housing and communal services. Thus, from next month, you will be able to get a voucher in only one way: either paper or in electronic format, as the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services reported earlier.
