NATO is capable of such a move.
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski suggested on Sunday, September 14, that allies should intercept Russian drones and missiles in Ukrainian airspace.
He said this in comments to German media, according to Tagesschau.
In particular, Sikorski believes that "it is worth thinking" about intercepting Russian drones and missiles in Ukrainian airspace.
"Technically we, as NATO and the EU, would be capable of doing this, but this is not a decision that Poland can make on its own, only together with its allies," he said.
He said the allies should coordinate actions against Russia's shadow fleet in the Baltic Sea.
"Germany or NATO could create a maritime control zone in the North Sea and thus control the entry of these old ships into the Baltic Sea," Sikorski said.
