U.S. Leaves Sanctions Against Boeing Dictator In Place

The eight remaining Belavia airliners cannot fly to Russia.
September 12, the Bureau of Industry and Security of the U.S. Department of Commerce officially allowed Belavia to use eight Boeing planes. However, some bans and restrictions are still in place, noted the site "Belarusians and the market".
So, to begin with - what is allowed:
1. Flights to/from any country on 8 specific American airplanes of Belavia's fleet, including flights to/from Belarus;
2. Their maintenance, repair and refurbishment;
3. Supplies of equipment, consumables and spare parts for these airliners.
And now - what is not allowed:
1.Fly, maintain and supply spare parts for the Boeing 767 8EVBBJ2 (registration number - EW001PA) used by the Lukashenko family;
2.For the other eight airplanes there is a ban on flights to/from Russia and the so-called LNR and DNR occupied by Russia, as well as Cuba, Syria, Iran and DPRK. Individual licenses may be issued for flights to these countries and territories;
3.It is prohibited to transport on them goods that can be used in Russia's military actions against Ukraine.
