Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has been discharged from the hospital where he was admitted a day earlier. He was diagnosed with skin cancer, Reuters reported.
"Examinations have shown that two of the neoplasms represent the early stage of skin cancer," Bolsonaro's doctor Claudio Birolini told reporters. - This problem has already been resolved by removal, but regular monitoring is required to make sure there are no new foci and that the removal was complete."
Bolsonaro was hospitalized because of vomiting, dizziness and low blood pressure. His condition has now improved.
On Sunday, the former president went to the hospital for the removal of a neoplasm on his skin. Tests showed the presence of squamous cell cancer.
The court earlier sentenced Jair Bolsonaro to 27 years and 3 months in prison on coup d'état charges. He has been under house arrest since August 4.
Bolsonaro served as president from 2019 to 2023, after which power passed to Lula da Silva. In January 2023, his supporters who disagreed with the election results staged protests and riots in the capital, Brasilia, attempting to take control of government buildings. The protests were suppressed by police forces.
