The GUR revealed the Kremlin's secret data.
In the next 50 years, the population of Russia will decrease by 25%, as evidenced by demographic forecasts. The main reason for such figures is the war, due to which the Russian Federation has already lost more than a million citizens.
This is reported by Ukrainian intelligence in Telegram.
"Consequences of the war for the aggressor - Russia expects a 25% decline in population. According to closed demographic reports that circulate in the document circulation on Russia, the population of the aggressor state in the next 50 years may decrease by at least 25%," the intelligence agency wrote.
It is reported that already now Russian enterprises are experiencing a shortage of labor, and vocational education institutions do not have enough students.
The most depressing demographic trends are recorded in the Far Eastern regions of the aggressor state, from where the Kremlin sent most men to war.
The intelligence agency recalls that during the hostilities Russia lost more than a million soldiers of its army - killed and wounded, and most of them are men between the ages of 20 and 35, who form the basis of the demographic pyramid.
"To slow down the crisis manifestations in demography and economy, Russian officials propose to attract migrant workers more actively. They, by the way, are also actively recruited to participate in the criminal war," the Defense Ministry's GSD added.
Reminder, according to Rosstat, from January to May 2022, when the aggressor made a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the population of the Russian Federation decreased by 430.3 thousand people.
