"Lukashenko Has Been Checkmated."

The dictator got into trouble because of the closed border.

Alexander Lukashenko, having aggravated relations with Warsaw, has found himself in an extremely unfavorable situation. The Polish authorities' blocking of the border with Belarus has put at risk the whole complex of "all-weather" Belarusian-Chinese relations, which Minsk had been carefully building for decades.

According to the telegram channel "Belarusian deduction", specializing in insiders, "Lukashenko's headquarters met in closed mode about the border blocking". The meeting was attended by "all law enforcers and part of the economic bloc.

"We discussed retaliatory measures. There was nothing to counteract. Lukashenko realized that the consequences for him are catastrophic," the publication says.

The arrest of Polish Carmelite monk Gzegorz Havel, accused of espionage by the Belarusian authorities, was perceived by Alexander Lukashenko's entourage "as an internal sabotage," while "sending drones (to the territory of Poland. - note) in collusion with Moscow added to the failure."

But the biggest problems Lukashenko has with Beijing, from where he has already "received a signal to finish".
