According to him, this could be a bit of a sensation.
The United States is trying to bring its troops back to the airbase in Bagram, Afghanistan, which it left in 2021.
U.S. President Donald Trump said this during a press conference with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
"We were going to leave Afghanistan, but leave it with strength and dignity. And we were going to keep Bagram, a big airbase, one of the biggest airbases in the world. We gave it to them for nothing," Trump said.
At the same time, he noted that the U.S. intends to regain control of that airbase.
"By the way, we're trying to get back there (to the Bagram airbase, - ed.). This may be a bit of breaking news.... It's an hour away from where China produces its nuclear weapons. So there are a lot of things going on," the US president added.
