September is traditionally marked by an increase in acute respiratory viral infections, and this month is no exception. There are many reasons for this - the formation of new teams in pre-school institutions, schools, higher and secondary educational institutions. Compatriots are returning from vacations from near and far abroad.

Traditional non-influenza viruses are fixed: rhinoviruses, adenoviruses, respiratory syncytial virus, coronaviruses, including SARS-CoV-2, which has already become seasonal, including Stratus, which is actively occupying its niche in Belarus. The new sub-variant of omicron does not cause a severe course of the disease.

It should be noted that Belarus has not disclosed statistics on covirus since the summer of 2022.
