Famous Canadian Iroquois Actor Graham Greene Has Died

The Oscar nominee passed away at the age of 74.
Canadian actor Graham Greene, known for "Dances With Wolves," has passed away in his 74th year. The cause was a prolonged illness, his agent Michael Green told ABC News.
The actor's agent noted that he "loved everything he did for his people and for the world."
"He was a man of outstanding morals and character, and we will miss him forever. We love you, my brother Green, God bless you," the message said.
Graham Green was born in the Canadian province of Ontario, on the Six Nations Reservation of the Iroquois Indian Nation, near the town of Brantford. He belongs to the Onaida tribe, which is part of the Iroquois Confederacy.
Green began his career in the 1970s, among his first projects were the movie The Running Brave and the TV series She Wrote Murders. The actor gained worldwide recognition for his role as Birds of Prey in Kevin Costner's epic Dances With Wolves (1990). This work also brought him a nomination for an Academy Award.
