Ukroboronprom Disclosed For The First Time The Characteristics Of The Drone Missile "Palyanitsya"

Speed, like a Russian X-101.

During the MSPO 2025 arms exhibition in Poland, Ukroboronprom presented for the first time the characteristics of the Ukrainian drone missile "Palyanitsya," Defense Express reported on Tuesday, September 2.

It became known about its existence as early as August 24, 2024, on Ukraine's Independence Day.

The details remained classified for a year, and only now they have become public.

It is noted that "Palyanitsya" has a mass of 320 kg, of which up to 100 kg falls on the payload. The maximum range is 650 kilometers, which almost completely covers the zone of potential targets indicated on the map of military targets published along with the first official reports on the missile. The flight altitude varies from 15 to 500 meters.

Navigation and guidance are carried out using GPS and inertial system. The Palyanitsi is launched using a solid-fuel booster followed by a jet engine.

"One of the most interesting indicators is its speed, which reaches 900 km/h, which is comparable to the speed of Russian Kh-101 cruise missiles," analysts said.

The missile is 3.5 meters long and has a wingspan of 1.7 meters. Defense Express added that compared to past renderings, the shape of the missile's wings has changed, while the hull and tail plumage remain unchanged.

There is no confirmation of the Palianitsi's actual combat use, photos or wreckage. At the same time, there were earlier speculations that this very missile could have destroyed an ammunition depot in the town of Toropets.
