Trump's Gold Card Will Go To Work In The US

What does it provide for?

US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to launch the Trump Gold Card. It will allow individuals and corporations to get accelerated right of residence in the U.S.

It was reported by Fox News with reference to the briefing of the head of state in the Oval Office.

"They (people. - ed.) will pay 1 million dollars. The corporation is paying 2 million dollars. It will raise billions that will go toward tax cuts and debt reduction," the president said.

The card features a portrait of the president, the Statue of Liberty and the American flag against a gold background, with the words "Trump Gold Card" on the left side.

"For too long, millions of illegal immigrants have flooded our country and our immigration system has been broken. It's time for the American people and American taxpayers to benefit from our LEGAL immigration system," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

From now on, individuals can purchase the card for $1 million, and corporations can later purchase the card for $2 million.

"We expect the TRUMP GOLD CARD to generate over $100 billion dollars very quickly. These funds will be used for tax cuts, pro-growth projects, and paying down our debt," Trump wrote.

How the initiative will work

According to the website, applicants must submit documents and pay a non-refundable application fee, which triggers an expedited check by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Afterward, officials conduct a detailed background check and screening of the potential cardholder.

After approval, the applicant is issued a Trump Gold Card, which will be valid in all 50 states and territories. They will receive lawful permanent resident status as an EB-1 or EB-2 visa holder.

The website notes that Trump Gold Card status is valid as a visa and can be revoked for national security and other risks.

Trump Platinum Card

The administration also plans to later launch the Trump Platinum Card ("Trump Platinum Card"), which would allow individual applicants to reside in the country for up to 270 days a year without taxation on income earned outside the United States. It will replace tourist visas.

Although the Trump Platinum Card has not yet been released, the website notes that applicants should join the waiting list immediately, as applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Trump administration's immigration policies

Since coming into his second term as president, Donald Trump's administration has significantly stepped up its crackdown on illegal migrants and is making it harder for foreigners to obtain visas to live in the country.

The United States recently introduced new rules for non-immigrant visas. Now the documents must be submitted only in the country of citizenship or permanent residence.

In addition, Trump announced his intention to conduct a military operation to deport illegal migrants from Chicago.
