Ukraine To Create Separate Assault Troops

Zelensky revealed the details.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has announced the decision to create modern separate assault troops. As the correspondent of UNIAN reports, the president said this during a meeting with journalists.

"As for assault troops, we have assault battalions, regiments, which show during the 2025th year, certainly a good result. And we decided that we should go to the legal plane. The Russians decided to do what we did. We will now make separate assault troops, this decision has been made. Now everything is being prepared, and I think about a week to ten days and everything will work," Zelensky said.

The Ukrainian president emphasized that we are talking about modern assault troops with a drone component, with everything else.

"Of course, they are working together today, the assault regiments with the DSHV perform strong tasks," the Ukrainian president added.
