The traffic police warned Belarusians about a new road sign related to the work of drones. More told in the Traffic Police Department of the Interior Ministry of Minsk voblast.

The traffic police reported about the appearance of a new information sign, which will be installed on the highways in Minsk voblast.

The new road sign will warn Belarusians about the control from the air. It will be installed in potentially dangerous places of highways, which were identified by traffic police officers in the course of analyzing the places of drivers' violations of overtaking rules. At these sites will be installed a road sign associated with the work of drones.

- 21 sites on the roads, where it is planned to inform drivers about the possibility of controlling compliance with traffic rules of Belarus by unmanned aerial vehicles, have been identified," commented in the traffic police.

The new road sign will be accompanied by a sign that video surveillance is conducted for 600 meters. The traffic police noted that even in the absence of a drone, the sign will act as a preventive measure, reducing the risk of violations.

- UAVs monitor overtaking, crossing the solid line and other maneuvers, - pointed out in the traffic police.
