Zelensky Admitted That There May Not Be A Final Treaty To End The War

Ukraine is not considering the Korean, Finnish or any other "model" of ending hostilities.

Ukraine does not consider the Korean, Finnish or any other model for ending the war. But it may happen that there will be no final document on the end of the war. This was stated by the country's President Vladimir Zelensky while talking to journalists on September 19, RBC-Ukraine reports.

Answering a question about possible formats for ending the conflict, the politician emphasized that Ukraine has a different history than South and North Korea.

- Nobody is considering the Korean, Finnish or any other model. Because we have what we have. And nobody knows what's going to happen in the end. But we know what the first step is. We know what security guarantees are important to us. What security guarantees will prevent the "Russians" from coming with new aggression. Even if they are given the opportunity to come, they will meet resistance. Real resistance," said Vladimir Zelensky.

The Ukrainian leader noted that "it may happen that there will be no final document on the end of the war".

- That is why they say - for example, French President Macron - that security guarantees should not wait for the end of the war. And here I agree with him that, for example, a ceasefire is enough to give security guarantees," said Vladimir Zelensky.
