Ukraine is increasing its ability to use drones on the battlefield. The country is maximizing their production and is already a world leader in this field. Drones and innovative technologies are helping the Ukrainian military to hold the frontline through a wide range of tasks. Every day, Ukrainian drones inflict up to 60% of losses to Russian troops.

This was reported by the head of the DroneUA group of companies, an expert in the field of drone technology and robotics Valeriy Yakovenko.

He said that drone technology is rapidly developing thanks to advances in artificial intelligence.

- Ukraine is a leader in this issue. Ukrainian engineers have developed, invented those activities that are sometimes based on simple, already mastered technologies, but they solve the tasks at hand. When we talk about the possibility of drones as one of the key elements of the modern ecosystem, security systems - this is true, but here we are talking not only about drones. These are Ukrainian ground-based robotic complexes, these are surface and underwater solutions," the speaker said.

In his opinion, Russia's war against Ukraine requires modern means of defeat. That is why the military-industrial complex of NATO countries, on which trillions were spent, has become irrelevant.

- In NATO, everything was based on technologies that were oriented to suppress some point conflicts. Today's confrontation with Ukraine requires absolutely other directions of activity. It is necessary to keep defense, it is necessary to be able to shoot down not a few dozen drones, but several hundred drones. And even those attempts to shoot down drones that Poland made, they were not 100% successful. And in contrast, Ukraine today reflects attacks that contain hundreds of drones and hundreds of aerial targets, including missile weapons," Yakovenko pointed out.

None of the Western countries has such military experience. Ukraine has made a huge leap in the development of military technologies in a short period of time.

- Over the past 3.5 years, Ukraine's military industry in certain technological areas exceeds in quality, in terms of technology, localization and quantity of production those technological chains that exist in the territory of our allies. Today Ukraine is not a country that asks for assistance. Today Ukraine is ready to provide assistance and is ready to work on an equal footing, especially when we are talking about high-tech equipment. It is produced in Ukraine, it works. It defeats enemy targets," the expert emphasized.

In Ukraine every three months more than 80 samples of domestically produced weapons are allowed for operation.

- Drones produced in Ukraine are much more systematic, much more effective in real use than those that are supplied. And our allies know this. This is the experience they are waiting for, because the cycles of evolution of drone and other technologies that exist in Ukraine, they last several months. In two months, we get completely new technologies that Ukraine brings out for use in combat. At the same time, when we talk about the West, these timelines take years. Ukraine has not that caught up with its allies, we are already far ahead," Yakovenko emphasized.

He added that the main purpose of attracting modern technologies is to save the lives of Ukrainian military.

- Russia aims to destroy everything that can be called Ukrainian. And this is actually genocide. And in this case, all the technologies that Russia uses, they are mostly terrorist. Because the same "Shaheds" that flew into Poland and hit Ukraine every night are not military weapons. They do not destroy a single military target. They are weapons that are directed exclusively against peaceful cities and unprotected residents. And it is the "drone wall" initiative that is designed to protect EU member states and Ukraine from potential drone attacks," the UAV expert summarized.
