The AFU Repulsed 17 Russian Attacks On The Pokrovsky Direction

There were almost 80 battles on the front during the day.
As of 16:00, September 20, 79 military clashes have occurred on the front since the beginning of the day. The largest number of battles was recorded in the Pokrovsky direction.
This is stated in the report of the AFU General Staff.
Today the communities of Bilaia Bereza, Studenok, Cherkasskoye, Gorki, Progress, Novovasilievka in Sumy region; Karpovichi, Bleshnya, Bogdanovo in Chernigov region suffered from the fire of enemy artillery and mortars.
Situation on the fronts
Today there were four enemy attacks in the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions. The invaders' aviation made four strikes, dropping five guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy made 115 artillery shellings of the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements, one of which - from multiple rocket launchers.
In the South Slobozhansky direction there were five skirmishes in the areas of Volchansk, Krasnoye Pervoye and towards Bochkovoye. Two skirmishes continue.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units in the direction of Mirny ineffectively once. The defense forces were successful, advancing in some areas up to 200 meters and inflicting on the enemy losses in manpower.
In the Limansk direction today the invading army carried out seven attacks on the positions of Ukrainians in the areas of Grekovka, Novomikhailovka, Shandrigolovoye, towards the locality of Novoselovka. Now four fighting clashes continue.
In the Seversk direction since the beginning of the day the enemy attacked three times towards Dronivka. As a result of reconnaissance and search operations, our defenders achieved tactical success, advancing in some areas up to 200 meters and destroying the enemy's manpower.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy conducted an attack near the locality of Chasov Yar without results.
In the Toretsk direction, the Ukrainian defenders advanced in some areas up to 300 meters and inflicted losses on enemy personnel, repulsed eight enemy attempts to penetrate our defenses in the areas of Ivanopolye, Shcherbinovka, Pleshcheyevka, Stepanovka, Rusiny Yar, Poltavka, Sofiyivka. Two skirmishes are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the Russian occupants have made 23 attempts to displace Ukrainian soldiers from their positions in the areas of Vladimirovka, Nikanorovka, Rodinskoye, Krasny Liman, Novoekonomichnoye, Kotlino, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne and towards Kazatskoye and Novopavlovka. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and have already repulsed 17 attacks.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Ukrainian defenders conducted successful search and strike operations, which resulted in the advancement of up to 3 kilometers and the destruction of a significant number of enemy infantry and taking prisoners. Since the beginning of the day Ukrainian defenders stopped six assaults of enemy troops in the areas of the settlements of Filial, Andreevka-Klevtsovo, Yanvarske, Malievka, Kamyshevakha, Novoivanovka and in the direction of the settlements of Berezovoye and Novovasilievskoye, six more skirmishes continue.
In the Gulyaypol direction the enemy attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces three times in the area of Olgovskoye. One skirmish is still ongoing. The aggressor launched an air strike on the settlement of Bilohorye.
In the Orekhovskyi direction, the Ukrainian defenders repulsed one enemy attack in the direction of Novoandreyevka.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy launched an air strike on the settlement of Kazatskoye and made two unsuccessful attempts to approach the positions of Ukrainian units in the direction of the Antonivskyi bridge.
