The Russian military, participating in the joint Belarusian-Russian exercises "Zapad-2025," have left for permanent deployment in Russia, reports the press service of the Defense Ministry of Belarus.

"Tank, motorized rifle units, air defense and UAV units have been training in training centers for two months, adopting the best practices from Russian colleagues," reads the report.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported on September 17 that Russian troops and units of other states began returning to their permanent deployment points.
September 16, the Zapad-2025 exercise ended. On that day, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin visited the Mulino training range in the Nizhny Novgorod region - here, in the presence of Russian and Belarusian Defense Ministers Andrey Belousov and Viktor Khrenin, he watched the culmination of Belarus' military maneuvers.
According to the Russian leadership, the exercises, which lasted five days, involved 41 land and sea training ranges (four of them - in Belarus), 100,000. Military personnel (including up to 7,000 Belarusian military personnel) and 10,000 pieces of military equipment.
Military personnel from 23 countries, including three NATO members - Hungary, the United States and Turkey - were present at the exercise.
