Russian Federation Hits Zaporizhzhya, Sumy And Kiev Region

On the night of September 22, Russia attacked Zaporizhzhya, Sumy and Kiev region. The enemy used guided aerial bombs and drones, there was destruction and casualties, local authorities said.

According to Ivan Fedorov, chairman of the Zaporizhzhya regional military administration, the Russians hit Zaporizhzhya with at least five aerial bombs. Civilian infrastructure and industrial facilities were under attack, fires broke out and cars were destroyed.

As of 06:40, two people are known to have been killed and two more wounded. One of the injured is in serious condition.

The Kiev region was attacked by Russians using drones, OBA chairman Nikolai Kalashnik said. The consequences were recorded in four districts.

In Boryspil district, a man born in 1993 suffered a blind shrapnel wound to the shoulder, he was treated in hospital without hospitalization. There was a fire of a private house, another house and cars were damaged.

In Vyshgorodsky district there was a fire of forest litter, in Fastivsky district - a fire in a private house, in Obukhivsky district - as a result of UAV shooting down debris fell on a multi-storey uninhabited house.

Operational services are working on the ground, all necessary measures are being taken to eliminate the consequences of the attack.

The Russians also attacked Sumy with "shaheds", said the mayor Artem Kobzar. Two strikes hit industrial facilities, another one hit an educational institution. In nearby high-rise buildings, windows were broken and balcony frames were damaged.

One person was wounded. According to the head of the OVA, Oleg Grigorov, it was a security guard of a company in the Kovpakovsky district of Sumy, which was hit by the Russians.
