A representative of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection Li Xi will meet Sept. 22 in Minsk with the head of the "House of Representatives" Igor Sergeenko. The meeting was announced by the "deputy" press service.

The topic of negotiations in the "House of Representatives" was not specified.

The iSANS analytical center previously reported that the Chinese delegation arrived in Minsk on September 20. And the Chinese agency "Xinhua" announced Li Xi's visit to Belarus in the second half of September.

We recall that Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi visited Poland on September 15. At a meeting with his Polish counterpart, he discussed, among other things, the closure of the Belarusian-Polish border and, as a consequence, transit, which is key for Chinese goods.

September 18, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that his country was waiting for China's help in stopping Belarusian provocations on the border - then the border would be opened.

Newsweek Polska quoted a source in the Polish Foreign Ministry as saying that Wang Yi hinted to Sikorski that the Chinese authorities "will have a frank conversation with Lukashenko" about the situation.
