Belarus has again updated the historical record of heat. On September 22, the air warmed up to 29.4 degrees above zero in Zhitkovichi and Oktyabrski, according to a comparative analysis of Belhydromet's operational and archival data conducted by "Pozirkam". The previous maximum of the day was lower by 2 degrees (in 2018 in Bragin). The local extremum in Zhitkovichi before was 26.3 degrees (in 1983 and 2023), in Oktyabrski - 26.2 (2023).

The day before, the absolute record, held for 22 years (29.5 degrees in Zhitkovichi vs. 28.5 in Vysokiy), was rewritten.

Total of 33 local records were updated on September 21, while on September 22 - 34.

September 22 was the last day of summer weather. According to the forecast of Belhydromet, September 23 will be from 11 to 18 degrees, from 18 to 24 degrees in the southeast. The next days will be even colder - from 10 to 16 degrees. On the night of September 25, frosts to minus 3.
