What Putin's New Statements Tell Us

It is time for the West to respond appropriately.
Putin's threats to use "military-technical means" - that is, war - against the West are a logical continuation of the policy of managed escalation that the Russian president chose after his meeting with Donald Trump in Alaska.
According to me, Putin became convinced of Trump's helplessness during this meeting and decided that he could now cross "red lines" much more confidently so that this helplessness would become obvious to everyone. Almost immediately after the talks, there were massive attacks on Ukraine, which Trump chose to simply ignore - unlike his previous reactions to Putin's strikes. The next step was the incursion of Russian drones into Polish airspace, which Trump was also quick to call "erroneous."
Now Russian fighter jets have violated Estonian airspace - and not just one, but three at once, so that it is impossible to speak of an accident. They stayed there for a full 12 minutes. Trump expressed his "displeasure", but in fact again did not react in any way. Putin then made direct threats of war against the West, leaving Trump to interpret his statement as a willingness to continue negotiations on nuclear weapons.
If there is no adequate response to these statements, the escalation will continue to escalate to attacks with attack drones and missiles, and eventually to the appearance of Russian soldiers on the territory of European countries. Putin wants to prove to Europe that Trump will not defend it, and thus to break the world order.
An additional motive should not be ruled out - the desire to put pressure directly on Trump himself. So that in Malaysia to talk to the American president in an ultimatum tone. The very tone that Si Jinping will choose during his meeting with Trump.
