The US president accused the UN of inaction in resolving international conflicts.
US President Donald Trump, speaking at the UN General Assembly in New York, accused the international organization of inaction in resolving world conflicts - despite the fact that it "has the potential".
"It seems like all they do is write letters with very strong language and then they don't implement it in any way. It's all empty words, and empty words don't solve problems," Trump said.
He also reiterated that he has "put an end to seven wars" since his return to the White House.
In February of this year, Trump pulled the U.S. out of the UN Human Rights Council and also banned funding for the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
