Turkey Sent AWACS Aircraft To Lithuania

The aircraft can identify drones flying at low altitude.

Long-range radar detection and control planes have been dispatched after Russian warplanes and UAVs violated NATO airspace

As Bloomberg reports, the aircraft can identify drones flying at low altitudes and targets that radar cannot detect.

This temporary deployment is considered a demonstration of Turkey's solidarity with NATO allies. The Turkish Defense Ministry has not commented.

It should be noted that Russia has recently resorted to provocations against NATO countries. Last week, three Russian warplanes spent 12 minutes in Estonian airspace. Before that, violations by Russian drones were recorded in Poland and Romania, and in July unmanned systems crossed the border of Lithuania via Belarus.
