The Indian Air Force (IAF) will retire the last MiG-21 frontline fighter jets tomorrow, September 26. This is reported by The Times of India.
A farewell ceremony for the aircraft, which have been in service with the country's Air Force for more than 60 years, will be held at the Chandigarh airbase. The last MiG-21s will be taken into the air by Squadron Commander Priya Sharma and Air Marshal Amar Preet Singh, among others.
