All those who were anticipating Alexander Lukashenko's speech were not mistaken in their expectations, writes ironically special correspondent "Kommersant" Andrey Kolesnikov.
- Well, you know the situation Russia is in, including us and the Russian Federation... They write about us, talk about us, call us all sorts of names, you know it too... - complained the governor of Belarus - We are both aggressors and co-aggressors and so on... Well, what's the sin, Russia, as well as all the other countries present here, has plenty of problems, especially our Russian Federation!
But not Belarus.
- There are a lot of questions, a lot of problems and a lot of struggle, which will be evaluated in the future, I am simply convinced of that, but nevertheless, well, what are we talking about today?! Are we talking about war today, are we talking about military problems? No! - exclaimed Alexander Lukashenko. - And at the suggestion of Russia, which has a lot of problems, we are talking about peaceful atom!
Peaceful atom is also located in the warring territories and therefore it seems not so peaceful, but not a word was said about it at this round table. Nor did Rafael Grossi say anything about it. And he talked about a lot of things. And even about the Tokamak, in which, it seems, he believes.
- We have gathered at a forum where this Russia shares its experience! - continued the ruler of Belarus. - Name another country that would openly and honestly say: come and see the most advanced technologies, which are not shared openly! Believe me, I am already an experienced and old (unexpected confession. - Editor's note) politician... To say so, openly, in difficult times, that come here, we will cooperate with you, and we will teach you!..! I don't know such a country!

- Russia today has no secrets in the most secret industry...- he continued. - Well, I am saying this not because it is the big brother there, as I often say in jest... Not because we are friends with Vladimir Vladimirovich...
But isn't that why too?

Many nuclear power plants have been built, Russia has probably built more than anyone else, and will build many more nuclear units... Serezha Kirienko (First Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergei Kirienko, who headed Rosatom before Alexei Likhachev. - Note) is present here...
