One Of The Largest Refineries In Southern Russia Burst Into Flames After A Drone Strike

There's a massive fire raging.

On the night of September 26, drones flew into Russia's Krasnodar region and struck the Afipsky oil refinery there.

A large-scale fire broke out at the refinery as a result of the strike, a video released by the telegram channel "Exilenova+".

"Preliminarily, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have hit the Afip refinery in Krasnodar Krai with attack UAVs," the report said.

The strike itself occurred around 2 a.m. Kiev time.

The Afipsky Refinery is a large Russian oil refinery located near the village of Afipsky in Krasnodar Krai, with a design capacity to process 6.25 million tons of oil per year. It is part of the Safmar group and is one of the largest in southern Russia, producing gasoline and diesel fuel.

The governor of Krasnodar Krai Veniamin Kondratiev has not yet commented on the defeat of the Afipsky refinery.
