The AFU Expanded The Zone Of Control Near Dobropillya

During the Dobropolsk operation, the Russians lost almost three thousand soldiers.
Since the beginning of the Dobropillya counter-offensive operation in Donetsk region, 168.8 square kilometers of territory have already been liberated and another 187.7 square kilometers cleared of Russian sabotage groups. This was announced by President Vladimir Zelensky in tlegram after a meeting with the military on Friday, September 26.
The president said he spoke with the AFU Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky, Chief of the General Staff Andrey Gnatov, Defense Minister Denis Shmygal and Deputy Head of the OP Paul Palisa.
"There were reports on the front - key directions, as well as the situation on the border. Special attention - Dobropillya counter-offensive operation. As of this morning since the beginning of the operation, 168.8 km² of territory has already been liberated and another 187.7 km² (a total of 356.5 km² - ed.) has been cleared of Russian sabotage groups. Total losses of Russians only within the limits of this our operation are already almost 3 thousand people, and most of them are irrecoverable losses," Zelensky wrote.
According to him, the replenishment of the exchange fund for Ukraine continues.
In addition, there were reports on the situation in Kupyansk and adjacent territories.
"We discussed in detail the course of our actions in general in Kharkivshchyna and Donetschyna," the Ukrainian president added.
Zelensky gave relevant instructions to the Defense Ministry and diplomats following his meetings and agreements in New York these days.
