SBU Drones 'shut Down' Oil Station Deep Inside Russia

A facility in the Chuvash Republic has halted operations after a drone strike.

Ukrainian Security Service drones hit the Tingovatovo oil pumping station in the Chuvash Republic of the Russian Federation on the night of September 27. The facility has been put out of operation.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing its own sources in the SBU.

"On the night of September 27, long-range drones of the SBU's CSO "A" worked on the Tingovatovo NPS, which is located 1,000 kilometers away from Ukraine in the settlement of Konar, Chuvash Republic, Russian Federation," the sources said.

It is noted that the station's operation was temporarily suspended until the extent of damage to the facility is clarified - as stated in an official statement. The attack was confirmed by the head of the republic.

The SBU knows from its sources that the drone hit the pumping station No. 1, a fire broke out. Now oil is not transported through this pumping station.

"SBU continues to "impose sanctions" against the oil sector of the Russian Federation, which brings the aggressor country superprofits that go to the war against Ukraine. The work on reducing the amount of petrodollars in the Russian budget will continue in the future," the source added.
