Moldovan Voters From Russia Are Taken To Minsk To Vote

Chisinau has launched an investigation.
Moldovan police are investigating the case of organized transportation of voters from Russia to Belarus. The agency stressed that this is a direct violation of the law and an attempt to influence the results of the parliamentary elections, writes Newsmaker.
"The police received a notice about the organized transportation of voters from Russia to Belarus, which is a violation of national legislation. [...] Law enforcement authorities are conducting a check and investigating the circumstances to identify the persons involved and to stop such actions," the agency said in a press release.

In Russia, two polling stations in Moscow were opened for citizens of Moldova. In Belarus - one in Minsk.
September 28 elections to the Parliament of Moldova are held. There are 23 electoral competitors in the race: 15 parties, 4 electoral blocs and 4 independent candidates.
