Details of the action became known.
Moldovan police have made arrests in a case of preparing riots and mass disturbances after the elections.
Information about this was given to journalists on Sunday evening, although the arrests took place somewhat earlier, European Pravda reported.
First, Moldova's national police made a statement that it "has information about certain groups of individuals who plan to organize unrest and destabilization in the capital after midnight" and "during the protest action announced for tomorrow (Monday)."
There were no specifics in this message. An hour later, however, the police press office released a new statement, accompanying it with a slicing of an operational video captured, based on the timecodes on the video, shortly before the first press release appeared.
The statement said that special police units detained suspects as part of "a criminal case opened over preparations for destabilization and mass disorder immediately after the elections and during tomorrow's protest in the capital."
Three people, whom police believe to be members of the Transnistrian security forces, were detained. The report suggests that the detainees were responsible for "coordination, monitoring and logistical support" in the context of the planned riots.
"During their detention and searches, a number of items were found in their possession, including pyrotechnics and flammable substances that were to be used to create panic and chaos in the crowd," the police said in a statement.
Even before election day, Moldova's prime minister said that Russia was spending hundreds of millions of euros to seize power following the election results.
Reportedly, on Sunday, police claimed that polling stations along the Transnistrian region had been "mined".
At the same time, foreign polling stations were also being "mined" en masse.
