Disease has begun to rise.
Vitebsk colony No. 3 ("Vitsba") is experiencing a massive increase in colds. The reason is that the prisoners are forbidden to wear warm cotton coats, which they were given in advance because of the sharp cold weather.
The rules of correctional institutions provide for the transition to winter clothes only in October. Therefore, the prisoners in "Vitba" were allowed to have cotton coats, but were forbidden to wear them. As a result, almost the entire colony began to catch colds, and some had to be transferred to hospitals.
According to information of MAYDAY TEAM, in some units they allowed to wear cotton coats only from September 29. Similar cases occur in other colonies: for example, in Babruisk penal colony-2 it is possible to wear cotton jackets, but winter hats - only from October 1.
