In the evening, September 3, there was an accident at a gas station in Minsk: the driver of the MAZ shuttle bus drove directly into the support of the gas station. Details of the accident were told in the capital traffic police.
Accident occurred at about 19:45. A 48-year-old driver was behind the wheel of the bus on route N70.
"While driving on the territory of the gas station on Mashinostroiteli Street, 34, the driver was inattentive and hit a supporting element of the gas station structure," the traffic police said.
According to the inspectors, at the time of the accident there were no passengers in the bus cabin, so people were not injured in the accident.
What can't be said about the gas station: the photos shared by the traffic police show that the bus almost crashed into a rack with fuel dispensers, which could have led to more serious consequences. Luckily, judging by the footage, everything turned out to be fine with minor damage to the lining of the column and damage to the cab of the bus itself.
