Zelensky Revealed Details Of His Conversation With Trump

The leaders of Ukraine and the United States discussed a new format for protecting the skies and the key to peace.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that during a conversation with US President Donald Trump the issue of a new format for protecting Ukrainian skies from Russian Federation attacks was raised.

According to Zelensky, the call with Trump was lengthy and very detailed. It also involved European leaders.

The conversation primarily focused on how to push the situation toward real peace.

"We discussed different options, and the most important is pressure to force an end to the war with strong measures, including economic measures. The key to peace is depriving the Russian war machine of money, depriving it of resources," Zelensky added.

Another topic of the conversation was the maximum protection of the Ukrainian sky, because as long as there is no peace, Ukrainians must not depend on the constant attacks of the Russian Federation, and Russian missiles and drones cannot take lives.

"Ukraine has proposed that the United States consider a special format to protect the Ukrainian sky," the president said.

He thanked Trump for the support of the Ukrainian people. The sides also agreed on further contacts.
