The State Security Service Of Ukraine Has Announced The Number Of Russian Military Personnel On Ukrainian Territory

Most of the group is concentrated in Donetsk region.

There are about 700,000 Russian military personnel on Ukrainian territory.

A representative of the Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate Andrey Yusov said this in an interview with News.LIVE.

According to Yusov, this figure takes into account not only regular troops, but also support forces, special services and Rosgvardia.

The majority of the group is concentrated in Donetsk region, which indicates the main priority of the enemy.

As for the presence of DPRK fighters on the territory of Ukraine, Yusov replied that they remain only on the territory of Russia.

Ahead of that, a representative of the operational-strategic grouping of troops (OSUV) "Dnipro" Viktor Tregubov noted that the Russian military in the Pokrovsky direction is twice as many as the residents of the city before the war - 110 thousand people against 60 thousand.

"The impression is that they have gathered such a horde to take an average European country," he said.

The Russian army regularly loses large numbers of personnel: between 800 and 850 every day, according to reports from the Ukrainian General Staff. Since the start of Russia's repeat invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the Russian army has lost more than one million troops.
