The world number one won her 21st career WTA title.
World number one Belarusian tennis player Arina Sobolenko won the final of the women's singles US Open - 2025, beating American Amanda Anisimova with the score 6:3, 7:6 (7:3).
The tennis players spent 1 hour and 36 minutes on court. During the match Sobolenko made one service game, while making two double faults, and also managed to realize five break points out of six. Amanda Anisimova had four aces, seven double faults and four break points out of seven.
After winning the final, Sobolenko was in tears. After the match, she fell to her knees and covered her face with her hands.
For Arina Sobolenko, this title was the 21st in her professional career and the fourth at the Grand Slam tournaments.
It should be noted that Anisimova is an uncomfortable opponent for the Belarusian. Amanda has won six of her nine previous matches, most recently in the semifinals of Wimbledon 2025.
Reminder, Sobolenko is the champion of the US Open 2024. In last year's tournament final, she defeated American Jessica Pegula 7:5, 7:5. The Belarusian became the first tennis player since Serena Williams to defend a singles title at the US Ope in 2013 and 2014.

The US Open tennis championship this year offers the largest prize pool in tennis history - a record $90 million. At the same time, the tournament maintains equal prize money for men and women. The New York title earned Sobolenko five million dollars in prize money (before taxes).
