The Belarusian was found in the area of Terskol waterfall at an altitude of 2800 meters.

A 26-year-old tourist from Belarus, who disappeared while climbing Terskolak Mountain (altitude - about 3,800 meters), was searched for in Elbrus region. As reported, the man was not officially registered and stopped contacting.

Rescuers of the Elbrus High Mountain Search and Rescue Unit of the Russian Emercom, as well as specialists of the center "Leader" were sent to the place. At present, an aerial survey of the area is being conducted.

The situation with the missing Belarusian climber on Elbrus is under special control of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, reported in the department.

"The Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation is in constant contact with the Russian competent authorities, as well as with the father of the missing. The Foreign Ministry will continue to inform on developments as confirmed data becomes available," the report said.

As of 09:10 Sunday, search operations in the Elbrus region have been completed.

- In the area of the Terskol waterfall (altitude 2,800 meters), the body of a tourist from the Republic of Belarus was found and evacuated and handed over to a law enforcement investigation team. The unregistered tourist from the Republic of Belarus had not been in touch since September 3. The work involved 19 rescuers of the Elbrus High Mountain Rescue Team of the Russian Emergencies Ministry and rescuers from the center "Leader", - noted in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kabardino-Balkaria.
