Mariupol Airport Attacked By Ukrainian UAVs

Ukrainian drones have attacked the airport in Russian-occupied Mariupol. The UAV hit, which took place on September 2, killed one Russian serviceman on the spot and injured another. A Russian armored vehicle was destroyed, according to internal documents of the headquarters of the so-called "territorial defense of the DNR" that came into the possession of ASTRA. Other damage is unknown.
An "arrival in the area of the airport" in Mariupol about an hour after the attack was reported by the Ukrainian channel Supernova+, publishing what was claimed to be footage from the site. The same footage was published by the channel Cargo 200.
The Mariupol International Airport has been officially closed since June 19, 2014 due to the invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops. In March 2022, the airport was seized by Russian troops in a full-scale invasion.
