The President of the United States is very disappointed with the Russian dictator.
American leader Donald Trump has responded whether he would be able to carry out a special operation to capture Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin similar to the Venezuelan scenario. The US president hopes it will not be necessary.
The White House reports.
After the US special operation in Venezuela in early January and the capture of that country's President Nicolas Maduro, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky claimed that "if you can (treat) dictators like this (to) the United States of America knows what to do next," apparently alluding to Putin.
The reporter therefore asked Trump if a repeat of the Venezuelan scenario was possible, to which he replied:
"I don't think it would be necessary. I've always had a great relationship with him (Putin). I'm very disappointed," the US president said.
The White House chief also added that he had "settled eight wars" and thought that Russia's war against Ukraine would be "one of the easiest."
"They've lost 31,000 people in the last month, many of them Russian soldiers, and the Russian economy is in bad shape," Trump concluded.
