Trump On Greenland: If We Don't Do It, Russia Or China Will Take Over

The U.S. President explained his intentions.

American leader Donald Trump said that the US intends to "do something about Greenland", otherwise it will be taken over by Russia or China, and Washington does not want to have such neighbors.

The White House reports.

Trump was asked how much money he plans to give the people of Greenland to agree to the transition of autonomy under the ownership of the United States - the head of the White House considered such an option (it was about 100 thousand dollars in one hand). The US President responded as follows:

"I'm not talking about money for Greenland yet. I'll probably talk about it, but right now we're going to do something about Greenland whether they like it or not. Because if we don't, Russia or China will take over Greenland, and we don't want to have Russia or China as neighbors," the American leader said.

He also added that he seeks an agreement in a simple way, however, if it can't be done, the United States will be willing to take the hard way.

Trump also emphasized that he is a fan of Denmark, which has "been good to him," but "the fact that a ship landed there 500 years ago doesn't mean they own the land."

"We're not going to let Russia or China occupy Greenland, which is exactly what they will do if we don't do something. We're going to do something about Greenland - either the good way or the bad way," the American leader concluded.
