The Russian capital has become more vulnerable to air attacks.
ATESH agents carried out a successful sabotage in the Moscow region of Russia, hitting an element of the air defense system of the 5th Air Defense Division within the anti-aircraft missile forces of the Russian Armed Forces.
The Telegram of the guerrilla movement "ATESH" reported.
ATESH noted that the tower was a communication and control point for a unit of the Russian Armed Forces.
It provided secure radio relay communications for the rapid exchange of information and orders between the command and subordinate air defense units.
The tower also served to house electronic intelligence equipment and intercept signals, which is critical for obtaining information and overall control of the situation in the region.
"The destruction of this communications hub weakens the air defense capabilities in the central region of Russia. Disrupted coordination, control and loss of intelligence make the entire system less effective and vulnerable," the guerrillas noted.
