NABU published an audio recording where a Ukrainian politician discusses a bribery scheme.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine on Wednesday, January 14, confirmed the delivery of suspicion to the head of one of the parliamentary factions and published audio recordings in which the suspect discusses bribes.
The NABU report does not directly specify the name, but according to the bureau's information, it is about Yulia Tymoshenko.
According to the investigation, after the exposure in December 2025 of bribes being paid by MPs for decisions on bills in parliament, the suspect initiated negotiations with individual parliamentarians on the introduction of a systematic mechanism for providing money in exchange for loyal behavior during votes in the Rada.
According to New Voice, it was not a one-time arrangement, but a regular mechanism of cooperation, which provided for payments in advance. Investigators believe that the lawmakers should have received instructions to vote, and in some cases to withhold or not vote.
The investigation continues in the framework of proceedings under part. 4 Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the perpetrators face imprisonment for five to ten years with confiscation of property.
On January 14, Tymoshenko confirmed the searches in the office of Fatherland, calling them illegal and denying all charges.
