Trump Held Talks With Venezuela's Interim President Delcy Rodriguez

The American leader announced a new partnership between the two countries.

US President Donald Trump said he had a "very fruitful" conversation with Venezuela's interim president Delcy Rodriguez.

Truth Social said in a post by Trump on Truth Social.

"We are making tremendous progress in helping Venezuela stabilize and rebuild," the American president said.

Trump said key topics discussed during the talks included energy cooperation, mining, trade and national security issues. He emphasized that a potential partnership between the U.S. and Venezuela could be beneficial for both sides.

Trump also expressed confidence that Venezuela has a chance to return to economic growth and prosperity.

"Venezuela will soon be great and prosperous again, perhaps even greater than ever before!" - Trump wrote.
