Iran's Crown Prince Has Pledged To Recognize Israel And Abandon Its Nuclear Program
Reza Pahlavi

Reza Pahlavi voiced a strategy of reform.

The son of the last Shah of Iran, Reza Pahlavi, has outlined a strategy for reforms in the country should the ayatollahs' regime fall. His plan includes abandonment of the nuclear program, recognition of Israel and full opening of the Iranian economy to the world.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to an official statement of the Crown Prince.

An abandonment of the nuclear program

According to the son of the last Shah of Iran, Iran's military nuclear program will be terminated. Iran will act as a friend and stabilizing force in the region, and become a partner in global security.

"Support for terrorist groups will stop immediately. A free Iran will cooperate with regional and global partners to fight terrorism, organized crime, drug trafficking and extremist Islamism," he said.

New Security Architecture

Besides the nuclear issue, Pahlavi promises a radical U-turn in foreign policy. Particularly in diplomacy, relations with the United States will be normalized.

His plan calls for official recognition of the state of Israel, Iran will seek an expansion of the "Abraham Accord".

In addition, he promises a complete halt to terrorist financing.

Oil, Transparency and Investment

Pehlevi said Iran's vast natural resources should work for global security.

"In energy, Iran has some of the largest oil and gas reserves in the world. A free Iran will be a reliable supplier of energy resources to the free world. Policy making will be transparent. Iran's actions will be responsible. Prices will be predictable," Pahlavi also said.

In terms of transparency and governance, Iran will adhere to international standards and enforce them. Money laundering will be stopped and organized corruption will be eradicated. Government institutions will become accountable to the people.

In addition, Pahlavi believes that an educated population and a strong diaspora will be the engines of rapid growth.

"Economically, Iran is one of the last major untapped markets in the world. Our population is educated, modern and our diaspora connects it to all corners of the world. A democratic Iran will open its economy to trade, investment and innovation. And Iran will seek to invest in the world," Pahlavi emphasized.

From Isolation to Global Partnership

He summarized that his plan is "not just a dream, but a concrete path to stability that benefits not only Iranians, but the entire global community."

"The fall of the Islamic Republic and the establishment of a secular, democratic government in Iran will not only restore dignity to my people, but will also benefit the region and the world. A free Iran will be a force for peace, prosperity and partnership," Pahlavi added.
