Dozens Of Unknown Objects Flew Into Poland From Belarus

Warsaw does not rule out that it was a provocation under the guise of smuggling.

On the night of January 16-17, several dozen unknown objects flew into Polish airspace from the territory of Belarus, the Polish National Security Bureau reported.

The incident was allegedly under the control of military and civilian services all night.

The Polish National Security Bureau notes that the situation was analyzed by collecting information from military and civilian agencies. As in the incident of December 24-25, 2025, when 59 objects from the Belarusian direction flew into Polish airspace, a possible scenario of provocation under the guise of smuggling is also not ruled out.

Polish authorities urge citizens to follow the official reports of the police and border guards and not to approach any suspicious objects, packages or their fragments, but immediately report their discovery to the relevant services.
