Evgeny Afnagel Met With Petras Auštryavicius

The coordinator of "European Belarus" and a member of the European Parliament discussed "windows of opportunity" for Belarus.

The coordinator of the civil campaign "European Belarus", ex-political prisoner Yevgeny Afnagel met with the member of the European Parliament and longtime friend of Belarus Piatras Ausztryavicius. The meeting was also attended by an associate of Nikola Statkevich, acting chairman of the party "Narodnaya Hramada", veteran of the Afghan war Evgeny Vilsky.

The meeting discussed the current situation in our region, threats from Russia and "windows of opportunity" that may soon open for our country.

A separate topic of discussion were the events of the last five years: the post-election protests in Belarus and the reasons for their defeat, the struggle for the release of political prisoners, the problems of the Belarusian diaspora and ways to solve them.
