Z-propagandist Told How The AFU Had The Russians Wrapped Around Its Finger

The joy of the occupiers did not last long.

The Ukrainian defense forces have managed to outsmart the Russians once again. The Patriot anti-aircraft missile system, which the occupiers had been claiming to have destroyed for a week, turned out to be just a mock-up.

This was forced to be admitted by Russian Z-war correspondent Mikhail Podolyaka, noted "Dialog".

In early January, Russian Z-channels circulated a video of a drone strike on an allegedly destroyed Patriot AN/MPQ-53 radar station and launchers. It was reported that the complex was detected and hit near Kharkiv. Russian propagandists actively rejoiced at the defeat, calling the target "fat."

The joy did not last long, however. Having analyzed the published footage, Podolyaka concluded that the Russian military had fallen victim to deception. He drew attention to a number of discrepancies, including extra support legs, differences in the radar's towbar, the absence of hatches and grilles on the generator, and other details not typical of the real complex.

Z-propagandist noted the high quality of the mock-up made by the Ukrainian side.

"The victims of Rubicon were precisely the high-quality mock-ups. They are made so well that any differences from the real MIM-104 Patriot SAM had to be searched literally with a magnifying glass, which makes it almost impossible for the operator to recognize the deception at the moment of impact or during visual reconnaissance," Podolyaka wrote.

It is noted that the Ukrainian Defense Forces actively use mock-ups of expensive weapons on the front. Such imitations cost dozens of times cheaper than real equipment, while Russia spends expensive ammunition to destroy them.

This way Ukraine effectively depletes the enemy's resources.
