Ukrainian intelligence intercepted a conversation between the Russian military in which the commander orders to detain a deserter. According to him, the occupant beat up his partner, took his assault rifle and left the combat position unauthorized.

A fresh radio intercept by the GSD records panic and disorganization in the ranks of Russian occupation troops. A commander of the Russian Armed Forces orders his subordinates to catch and disarm a soldier who escaped from his position with his weapon at the first opportunity.

According to the commander, the deserter beat up a fellow soldier, took possession of an assault rifle and disappeared, presumably expecting to return at night.

The intercept also contains an order to tie up the fugitive and forcibly take away his weapon if he appears near the post. The commander specifies that it is a serviceman of Ossetian origin.
