Musk Is Thinking About Buying Airline Ryanair
Ilon Musk

The businessman asked Ryanair about its price and launched a survey about the purchase.

American entrepreneur Ilon Musk is thinking about buying airline Ryanair. He asked the company about its price on social networking site X. "How much would it cost to buy you?" - he wrote.

Ryanair had earlier responded to a New York Post post about a massive X outage in the US by asking Musk: "Perhaps you need Wi-Fi?"

In response, the American businessman asked how much it would cost to buy Ryanair and suggested "putting someone with the real name Ryan at the helm."

He then launched a poll. Of the nearly 38,000 people who voted, 82% approve of Musk's possible purchase of the low-cost carrier and "bringing Ryan back as a legitimate leader."

Ryanair is an Irish ultra-low-cost airline. It is headquartered in Dublin, with major operating bases at Dublin and London Stansted airports.
