The RF is drowning in internal problems.
Dozens of settlements in Kuban have been living without light and water for the third day after heavy snowfall in late December.
This was reported by Ukrainian volunteer Sergey Sternenko, citing local sources in the region.
He said the most typical winter weather conditions led to a utility disaster, clearly showing the state of infrastructure in Russia.
Local authorities confirm the scale of the problems. Due to the disruption of power supply, some cities and towns have been virtually paralyzed. At the moment only two water intakes are connected to the network, there is a slow water supply for heat supply. In one of the towns only 6 boiler houses out of 10 are working, the rest of the town remains without heating.
The situation looks quite cynical: the management of one of the service companies is not in touch, which seriously hinders the repair and connection of subscribers. As a result, it is not possible to return light to homes in a short period of time.
Regional authorities claim that work is being done continuously, but at the same time they do not give even tentative deadlines for solving the problems.
Sternenko emphasizes that instead of modernizing worn-out networks, the Russian authorities continue to spend huge amounts of money on the war against Ukraine. It is ironic that the problems with the communal infrastructure arose for the Russians even without the intervention of Ukrainian long-range assets.
