Guerrillas Infiltrate Key Control Center Of Russian Black Sea Fleet In Novorossiysk

This is about the 37th separate special communications center (military unit 09920), which ensures the transmission of the most important commands from Moscow and coordination of the fleet's actions with other branches of the armed forces. It is this facility that actually serves as the central control system of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

ATESH agents have been conducting covert surveillance of the node for a long time and have recorded the arrival of high-ranking officials from Moscow. It is likely to be an inspection.

The leadership of the Russian General Staff is reportedly dissatisfied with the actions of the current commander of the Black Sea Fleet, Admiral Pinchuk, and such visits are often preceded by personnel changes at the highest level, the movement said.

At the time of reconnaissance, a significant strengthening of the object's defense was recorded. In particular, additional electronic warfare systems, short-range air defense systems, new engineering barriers, as well as increased number of guards have appeared around the special communications center.

In addition, there is an active movement of personnel: relocation of key specialists, replacement of the center's management, arrival of repair teams of special communications and civilian specialists in cryptographic equipment.

The ATESH notes that if this facility is put out of operation, the Black Sea Fleet will lose stable communication with Moscow and the possibility of centralized control, turning into disparate units.
